Small aircraft magnetic compass KI-13A


Designation:
The compass is designed for use in helicopters, airplanes and sailplanes of all types.

Description:
The set of two parallel magnets is fixed to a rose. The rose is mounted on pivot made of cobalt - tungsten alloy and on an agate stone. The rose assembly is immersed in liquid (ligroin). An air bubble compensates ligroin volume changes caused by the temperature fluctuations.
The housing of the compass, of 42 mm diameter is made of plastic and painted matt black.
