Description:
The set of two parallel magnets is fixed to a rose. The rose is mounted on pivot made of cobalt - tungsten alloy and on an agate stone. The rose assembly is immersed in liquid (ligroin).
A diaphragm compensates the ligroin volume changes caused by the temperature fluctuations.
The housing of the compass, of 60 mm diameter is made of plastic and painted matt black. It is fastened to a light alloy holder.
